Location: Cartago Province, Costa Rica
Airport: 1.5 hrs from SJO by car
Terrain: Mountain, cloud forest
Elevation: 3,900-4,500 ft
Access: 1,000ft elevation gain hike from the starting point (the end of the paved road at the base of the mountain (~3,500 ft elevation) on a dirt road/rocky trail with great views to the top of the property (~4,500ft elevation).
Water features: We have a waterfall on the entrance side of the property, and a creek on the far side of the property.
Farm: Yes. A banana patch, some citrus trees, guava, wild raspberries, and blackberries have been found so far! We've planted herbs and other edible plants.
